any comments on the Durango?

The 2001 Durango has the 4.7L engine (2000 was the first year with the 4.7). The transmission is a 4 speed which has since been droppped in 2003 for a 5 speed.
As far as how good they are...don't know...sorry.

what about F5 vs. rev 600

Actually the 600 Ski-Doo is closer to 105-107 Hp, but it will still probably outrun the F5. It has way more torque, which will get up to speed faster. On top end I would say that the F5 may be faster, as the Ski-Doo 600 regular doesn't have a great top end but you would need a very long lake to prov...

2002 z570

I think it is a good price as well. Engine should be good although I would look it over really well, same with the chassis. Nothing is harder on snowmobiles than sitting during summer and since they are very new they should be good even with the higher milage.

Help I am stumped

I would agree, it is a drive bearing probably on the chaincase side. If your speedometer is not working then the blown bearing is on the clutch side.

To the Canadians out there - Sonic synthetic oil

Sonic synthetic injection oil available from Co-op

Have you tried this oil? It is a pretty cheap oil ~$5.40 a liter. It is fully synthetic and should work well on engines with exhaust valves. I just bought a case and was looking for feedback.

Polaris kickin some WSA Booty!!!

I was at the races in Winnipeg and Polaris didn't dominate...far from it. Being a cat guy I must say I was impressed with the Ski-doo talent out there and the shear amount of Ski-doo drivers. The cats did OK but they are a little shallow on the talent pool. About the little red button..you should he...

arctic efi problems

I would check the fuel pressure and make sure it is within spec. I think it is supposed to be 36 PSI +/- 3 PSI, but check with the dealer.

a stock chevy Duramax will beat any stock ford power stroke!

Anyone that works in the diesel industry knows that the diesels that are put in the consumer trucks, are so detuned it is not funny. They are easliy capable of putting more than twice the power that they currently are. Just the frame and powertrains can't handle the power and be reliable. All of the...
