The 2001 Durango has the 4.7L engine (2000 was the first year with the 4.7). The transmission is a 4 speed which has since been droppped in 2003 for a 5 speed.

I think it is a good price as well. Engine should be good although I would look it over really well, same with the chassis. Nothing is harder on snowmobiles than sitting during summer and since they are very new they should be good even with the higher milage.

Have you tried this oil? It is a pretty cheap oil ~$5.40 a liter. It is fully synthetic and should work well on engines with exhaust valves. I just bought a case and was looking for feedback.
