I saw a sled once that the chassis was modified to wedge a Olds Quad 4 engine in it. It had a twist throttle and front suspension like the pogostick yamahas except it was coil over shocks.

I think it is because the viper will be easier to insure since it is not over 600ccs and that makes it in more demand since some insurance companies won't insure sleds larger than that.

Why no reference to the 140 hp four stroke marine engine being lowered into a sled? It is the lightest 4 stroke engine of its size, cleanest burning, and quietest. I think this engine could be a consideration.
What do the "experts" think?
