What can be done to make it fast

As Stimp said, get the adjustable transfer rods. You'll want all the extra hook-up you can get. My brother-in-law's exhaust looked completely stock after MaxPerf punched out the can. You can only tell something was done if you have it out (or by the sound, which was very nice). All they do is cut a ...

Who has ridden it

Handling is very good through the trails, but the ride quality is very poor compare to other manufacturers when it get rough. It can be softened up, but still doesn't compare to others. All depends on what you weigh, IMO. Performance isn't there without some mods, but I referred to that on your othe...

What can be done to make it fast

My brother-in-law had an '01 SXr700. Most know it's a dog out of the box. He removed two layers of head gaskets, added VForce reeds, clutched and jetted, MaxPerf Roller Secondary, had MaxPerf punch out his exhaust, 192 studs, and transfer rods. Never had it on the radar to see how it worked, but it ...

'96 Chevy Blazer

I had a '95 with 75000 miles and spun the bearings...hardly pulled anything with it other than single trailer and sled, and a 3000lb boat a couple times. Tore down, replace bearings, put back together and it seemed to be fine. Didn't replace anything else and to this day, don't know why it happened....

MXZ 800...is it a good sled?

Engine recalls on the '01 for sure. Make sure they're done or she could blow.

REV 2 up seat wanted

I'm not positive, but I think a new seat comes with a kit that has some mounting hardware which gets welded inside the compartment, so you would likely need that stuff too.

If people have them, I doubt very much they'd sell them unless the sled is gone. I think it's a great setup!

Woody's doolys

A buddy put them on his RX1 last year. After using them on one trip, about 800 miles, he took them off and sold them to a Viper buddy. His sled pushed worse in the corners than with the stock carbides, but they did eliminate darting. Maybe he should have made some adjustments, but he didn't bother.

any one from ontario?

Sorry, when I said south of Ottawa, I meant 20-minutes, not 1-hour! :)

It'll be about another hour for you to get to Mont Laurier in Quebec.
