Price of Gas for toys this Winter

I already have two older sleds that are smaller and plan on keeping them. I guess that what I have to look at is the fact that I have to buy three of everything, permits at $20 each, regestrations at $35 each, 3 sets of carbides, 3 sets of sliders, usually 7/10 gals. of gas for each sled each day of...

Price of Gas for toys this Winter

With the price of gas being what it is and all signs of it being even higher by snow time, has anybody thought about getting rid of the sled or down sizing for better fuel ecomomy? Thinking of saying bye to the 700MXZ. Any thoughts or comments?

Looking for a used chain case for a 96 Ski-Doo Formula SLS 500. Any good bone yards out there to look for one at? Gonna need most of the internal parts also. Looked at Ronnie's and Al's already with no luck on used. Any place else? Thanks. Later. Keep the shiney side up and the studded side down. Pl...

Loading the sled up to head out for northern MI, and saw that 1 of the registration stickers had come off and was no where to be found. Still have one sticker on sled and paper registration in wallet and trail permit on sled. Has anyone been hassled by DNR for this? What might I expect? Sec. state o...

Injection oil turned milky

Have a 96 Ski-Doo Formula SLS. This past weekend when refilling the injection oil I saw that the oil had turned milky, like a cars oil does when it gets moisture in it. Has anybody had this happen? The oil level is always full and the cap is on tight. Does the oil recirculate into the engine? 2-stro...

Price for "00" MXZ 700

Found a "00" mxz 700. 2300 miles. Local dealer has it for a customer who has bought a new Rev. No mods, no studs. Just needs a good wash and wax. Trying to find out what a reasonable price would be, seeing that the ZX chassis is not at a high premium any more with the new Rev chassis out t...

02 MXZ 700

The dealer said that there is a metal tube that goes into the carb, and that on some sleds, it was not pressed in far enough and can vibrate out and cause lots of uglyness. Yeh, it's black, and it looks awesome just setting still. Can't wait to get it on the trail and let my kid try it so I can see ...

02 MXZ 700

Looking at an 02 Ski-Doo MXZ 700 Sport. Was wondering if there are any other glitches in the sled besides the carb issue. Still in crate and dealer assured me that they would take care if that. Being the first yr. for it, I would like to get some info for it or on it. Thanks Play with your toys!!!!!

97 Formula 500 hesitation

Had same problem on my 96 500 SLS. Belt dust and condensation on sheave on both drive and driven clutchs. Disassemble, clean with solvent, polish with scotch brite pad, apply a very small of anti-seize on shaft and reassemble. Check driven spring for length. Polish faces of both clutchs. Check engag...
