Went On A Really Neat Ride Today

Absolutely awesome pictures, wakr. Someday (probably after all of the kids are out of school) I've got to get out there.

GPS usage

Santa brought me the (Garmin) etrex Legend for Christmas, and I have used it alot on the few trips I've been able to get away for this season. About 200 dollars, I think. I also got the Mapsource software with it, which gives you VERY detailed maps that you can download to your unit. Last Sunday I f...

hand signals

Ran into quite a few people this season who don't use hand signals. BUT, there are a bunch who do, too. The mittens I wear also have the index finger separate, like a two-finger glove. I don't like to just put up an open hand to tell people there are sleds behind me...most think I'm just being frien...

This winter sucks

This is the best winter in Northern PA we've had in many years. Last year, we didn't even get to ride at all until the second or third week in January.

Hey Scott...how's the riding down to Jamison. I've heard things are virtually impassable around Mildred. Did the Game Commission clean up the trails down over the mountain? I spent the day out in Potter yesterday. It was fantastic. Probably go out again this Sunday (no sense watching the Super Bowl....

Yesterday's breakdowns

You know, for what we ask these sleds to do, they're all pretty reliable, I don't care what brand you ride. In 105 miles yesterday, I say only three sleds with hoods up. One was a ProX that someone tried to turn into a submarine crossing a creek about 4 feet deep. Another was a RX-1. Saw him a few t...

Potter County, PA

Rode about 105 miles from Ansonia today (Sunday), over to Germania, down to Ole Bull State Park, back up the pipeline to Ansonia. Most trails in fantastic shape, with the exception of Long Ridge trail, from Germania down to Rt. 144. Still lots of trees down from the ice storm a few weeks ago. Also, ...

Cat bulletin on 02 zr800 efi cc's?

Anyone have any idea why it's just the efi sleds?? Did they use different shocks on the carbed models? I just checked the parts blowup at brownsleisureworld.com, and they list the same part number for both the efi and carb models. Guess I'll get my dealer to work the phones. *This Message was edited...
