Just bolt a Cat, Pol, or Doo mountain skid under it. MUCH cheaper, and that is basicaly the design of the new yami mtn skid....

I watched an entire intake manifold, and part of the head come off a IH tractor at a Pull one time...... But they are running SERIOUS amt's of boost. Like in the triple digits. Not the 15-20psi that you'll see on a RX-1ton.....

Belt deflection, how high the belt rides in the secondary, should be about 1/8". Can be adjusted on the secondary, 3 bolts on the outside of the secondary clutch. You'll have to get a clutch alignment tool, to check your clutch alignment. Make sure the secondary slides a little bit on the jackshaft ...

Make sure it's aligned correctly....

Bergstrom (sp?) ski savers help with darting too. And are only $10 or so for a set.

Hyfax melting? Next time it does that jump off into some soft snow, see if it goes away. BTW check your hyfax and see if they are shot.

Happens on all skids when you try to take them out.... Either work it back and forth, eventually the bolts will come out. OR go get a nut that fits the bolt, pull the bolt most of the way out, and tighten the nut up against the tunnel. That will keep the bolt from turning and allow you to get the ot...

Could be too lean in the pilot circuit.... Try hitting the choke and see if it comes down....

Try running it with the hood off. Won't keep the warm air in there. If the problem goes away, you know you're on the right track.
