snowmobile liability insurance in Vermont

Liability insurance in Vermont can be purchased for as little as $40/year. Many places offer it for about $50/year. I think it's a very good idea.

what are the best kind of gloves??????

I just use cheapo Thinsulate gloves that I bought at Wal Mart. Either that or leather work gloves. Maybe I'll buy some nice ones with christmas money. :)

New to EFI Cats

Lawdog, it seems that Cat was aware of their oil problem from last year. This year's oil is a full synthetic and is supposed to be much cleaner.

'86 PHAZER...

I learned to ride on an 86 Phazer. :) I got it to just about 75 on a lake with the lower piece below the hood folded back banging into my knee. With that thing where it should be and a windshield that wasn't busted, I think I could have popped off a couple more MPH. Not bad for a neglected, beat 10k...

AND YET ANOTHER RUMOR...

I have a bad feeling that sleds are going to go through a rough period just like autos went through in the 70s when they had the emissions issue to deal with. I think that sleds will rebound faster because we've got a lot more technology than the auto industry had in the 70s, but there will still be...

Snowmobiles????? What????

Have you ever noticed that 90% of the SUVs out there suck in the woods? Just like cars, snowmobiles are purpose-built. Of course most of them don't go through 2' of snow well. They're not designed for it. Mountian sleds don't work too good on trails. Instead of trying to fit one sled to all applicat...

Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI vs. ZL 600 EFI SS >>> What would you choose?

Thanks for the info guys. I generally ride groomed trails, but I'm not looking for a cadillac either. The reason that the SS intrigues me is that it's supposed to be as firm as the ZR over the rough stuff, but soft the rest of the time. Such are the joys of an electronically controlled shock valve t...

Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI vs. ZL 600 EFI SS >>> What would you c

Hi all. This is my first post here, and I'm about to purchase my first new sled. I can't decide between the Cat ZR 600 EFI or a ZL EFI SS. The SS rear suspension intrigues me, and that orange color is hot, but I really like the new handlebar design on the ZRs, along with the wider running boards. Ev...
