It is very possible about the 17 F's. I was in Twin Mtn. NH early December with about 20 other riders including 7 new F's 5-700, 2-500, 4 out of the seven seized the engines, saw the results with my own eyes and know one personally all were 700's and at least 2 were burped and upgraded. I can honestly say that 90% of Kawigirl's post is untrue. Don't really care but most non-mountain RX1's were in the 6-7k range and sold end of season. This guys got some serious issues, must ride an F7 and badly needs some ammo for another brand to overcome the enormous bad rep of his own POS.

Zr- Got bad news for you, Yamaha sold close to 11,000 RX1's vs AC 11,600 F's, so that throwss your theory out the window. I did see lots of F7's though....mostly in the AC service department when i was dropping off my Cat buddy.

Funny MC, I beat your mileage by far this season, and I don't ride the Rangeley Highways either. Must have forgot to take your Geritol this year or the F has been in the shop with the rest of them.....oh I forgot you NEVER had any problems with yours....hahahahahahaha good one. Yes I'm here too.
