Do the REV's dart?

My neighbor has an '04 Rev that I've ridden a few times. I can't say that it darted at all, actually it handled very nice. I think they changed the design on the new ones because of a "legal entanglement" with Simmons. I'm a Polaris guy, but I would consider a Rev for my next sled. They are really s...

Dual runner carbides????

If you want to pay for shipping, I will give you the ones off of my 600 Classic. I won't ever use them again. They definitely eliminate darting, I could go 90 mph down the trail with one hand on the bars. The problem is that they don't turn. I was ready to sell the sled because I hated the way it ha...

few ski doo parts needed

I'm sorry, I can't help you out with parts. I see you have a '77 RV340; cool sled. I used to have that same sled. As I look back to the sleds I used to own, that was probably one of my favorites.

Clutch Kit for 2003 Polaris 700 XCSP - advices needed

Ask your dealer if he has any hot set-ups. I put an SLP kit on one of my other sleds and it actually was worse. I took it off after the first ride and threw the parts in a box. My dealer told me his hot set-up and the thing flew. The best thing was it only took less than $40 worth of parts.

rev adrenaline 500ss vs xcsp 600

I ride an '03 600 Classic and my neighbor has an '04 Rev 600 so I can give you some thoughts. First off, don't listen to these clowns about the Polaris being outdated. Just because they didn't totally redesign it for a few years doesn't make it a bad sled. It still has it's place. I don't think you ...

electric shield hook up

I just put one on my '03 600 Classic. If you have a Polaris shield there is a plug for it right above your left toe as you sit on the machine. It's kind of behind the secondary clutch. If you have an after-market shield, you'll have to splice into the wires; yellow is + and brown is -. Hope this hel...

Want to be the best?

I ride Polaris; do I think that it's the best? No.

My buddy rides Cat and my neighbor rides Ski-Doo, so I've ridden all three quite a bit. I could list the pros and cons of all three but if I had to choose a favorite I don't think I could. They are all very nice.

Polaris Suspension ?

Okay, here's a couple of things that might help you. I have a '97 Indy 500 which is the same thing. First of all it has an Indy Select shock in the rear, at least mine does so I assume yours does also. You can adjust the damping by turning the small screw at the base of the shock, a small adjustment...

If you could turn back the clock................

I'd really like to have my '77 RV340 back. Like skidoorider said, they were a blast to ride. My second choice would be my '79 El Tigre 5000.

If I could turn back time, the sled I'd most like to give back is the POS Polaris I currently own.
