98 skidoo form III

Before you just throw a new top end together, check the run out on the pto end. I had a bearing go out on mine and it ended up throwing the crank out and tearing up the seal...leading to that exact same thing. Just something to check out.

super sonic

The Super Sonic was a Moto Ski, essentially the same thing as the Ski Doo. Different colors, and a different model number. Depending on the year, it may be oil injected. If it is, it will have the oil pump mounted on the recoil and the hoses will run over to the intake. Even if it isn't oil injected...

Reed cage.... Homebrew style.

Your advantage is most likely going to come with the rear transfer port the reed valve is going to allow you to put in. This would be my guess if you have a cylinder/crankcase filling with gasoline and you have to hold it wide open to clean it out. This could lead to engine failure too as...

93 ARCTIC CAT 900 THUNDERCAT MAGNETO PROBLEM

If it didn't have spark, then did, and you're getting a bad resistance number out of the low speed alternator coil, chances are, it will go out again. Most likely when it warms up. Don't venture too far from home until you know for certain.

twin pipe heat

You want to keep the heat in the pipes, cooling them down will sacrifice engine performance...it will lower the power band. Wrap them or have the ceramic coated, if they're anywhere near plasitc they're gonna melt stuff. This is why the stock pipes come with a heat shield...accomplishes both things,...
