Fusion Owners Help

I've been debating purchasing a 2005 Fusion 900 but I wanted to know a little more about them. What kind of fuel mileage do you guys typically get on trails? Has anything worn out or broke prematurely? I don't know if i should get a 2005 or wait for the 2006. Thanks for the help.

Release of 05's?

The Polaris dealer show is in two weeks (i think) and the Arctic Cat dealer show is very shortly after that. I would say go to your dealer and find out what's what for next year. Polaris is rumored to have an RMK 900 twin with A-arm front suspension and i heard that Yamaha will have another 4 stroke...

900's in 2005???

Ok here's the deal. I was just at my dealer today and he told me that Polaris is offering a 900 twin in the RMK mountain sled. It is rumored to have around 160 horsepower and yes......it does have A-arm front suspension. Dealer show in a few weeks in Florida so i guess we'll find out then!!!!

is a 94 ZR7 really that fast?

snirt, i think you would have a good race with him. My 98 XC 700 will easily outrun an older ZR7. Horsepower numbers are really close so i guess if you can get him out the hole you should be able to hang on and win.

horsepower?

American Snowmobiler dyno'd it at 119.8 HP at 7800 RPM while torque was maxed at 80.6 ft/lbs also at 7800 RPM. Kinda neat that peak horsepower and torque is at the same RPM

Is AMS oil good???

Plumr, amsoil would be probably the best choice for your sled. It's less expensive (to my knowledge) than Polaris VES oil and will keep your exhaust valves cleaner. Just the regular Amsoil injector oil will be fine for your sled. No need to spend all that extra money on racing oil.

I'm not tryin to bash the F7 cuz they look very strong but i'm just stating the truth. With some minor clutching work they are rockets.

a stock chevy Duramax will beat any stock ford power stroke!

I look at it this way, it's almost like a polaris vs. Cat. The Cat (Duramax) is powered by the latest japenese Suzuki (Isuzu) junk on the market. While the Polaris (Power Stroke)uses the best in american technology Liberty (Navistar or International for you truckers). It's as simple as that!!
