2005 RX-1 ho

I saw the new Waverunner w/160+hp 4 stroke in it. I heard yammies upping the ante next year with a lighter, faster sled that should really compete next year, finally. For this year, I'll try an f-7 firecat. Maybe it will last one season, I hope. The fx 160HO is like the fx 140 then came the rx-1, so...

yamaha waverunner seats on thier own sleds!

I rode a new yami jet ski this week. Why can't they put that cushy cadillac seat on the seds? LOL Then they could claim a new suspension! LOL! I think that ski rode through the 2 -3 foot waves like a caddy, compared to my hard pounding sea doo gsx. If they swapped seats, I think we'd have a winner! ...

Most "Worked On" sleds on the snow

Actually, the only time I broke anything was when I worked on it. My yammies are solid. And I beat the snot out of them, no doubt about it. But great maintenance is the real key to no breakdowns.

Yami Hype falls short again!

KEN, you really are in for a nightmare... I'm not putting it down, but my dealer has 4g's in his rx,514lbs, running on the scales, today. 114mph in 10.70 sec. No rolling resistance on asphalt. !/4 mile is worth 2-3 miles on the lake. EASILY, so, bad news, they are slow period. You'll never pass 110m...

Yami Hype falls short again!

Actually, if those #'s are real, which I highly doubt, they all sound quite exaggerrated to me. I raced 1/4 mile today. No way a stock anything w/140hp can run 106-122 times. Clutched geared, and a whole lot more. I ran 121 in 10.41 w a 162hp sled that crossed the track scale running at 510 even. So...

Guess what I saw today, F7

COME ON, the RX_1 DEFINATELY gets one up for originality, cause no other company would dare make a sled over 600 pounds, except yamaha! V-max 4, rx-1 they definately make thier own roads, then ride em'

Vipers Suck

tell him about the fuel pump. The only thing I can think of on the ignition system may not shut down the fuel pump as soon and leaves the engine flooded for some reason. If it is a too rich start problem. If it is a too lean problem, if it's stock, totally, this isn't the problem....if the cylinders...
