Reeds

I think my reeds are shot. 2002 MXZ 700 idles like its on one cylinder but it is on two cylinders. Once its revved above 3k rpm it sounds normal. Hard to start after the motor has been warmed up. Normally started on one pull and now it takes a few pulls. I am thinking Boyesen Petals to replace stock...

secondary preload testing

On my old 1990 Formula MX I found the cam and inside guts of the clutch pretty rusty. So when I got the cam helix out this weekend I soaked it in parts cleaner to tr...

secondary preload testing

I have a skidoo mxz and would like to test the preload setting on the secondary clutch to make sure my spring setting is still good. Do I need the small bracket from skidoo that they show to hook onto the secondary or has anyone had luck using something home made?
Thanks!

snowmobile smoking, normal?

make sure you have the carbs cleaned as sitting for that long they will definately have some junk built up in them from old gas. If the carbs are clogged then it will lean the engine and cause major damage. Reputable dealerships will do this for around 50 to 70 bucks. A lot cheaper than a engine ove...

fusion 900

Wasn't the Fusion released back in 03'? Oh I forgot it was a skidoo rev. Jeese they look so much the same I forgot we had different snowmobile manufacturers. I guess Polaris can continue to be called copiers instead of manufacturers since they take all of the ideas they have off of skidoos. What nex...
