Snowmobile Lift Stands

Go to totallyamaha.com. There is a tech page on the left. Then scroll down to miscellaneous, and you will find the plans for making your own lift. I am assuming you want a lift that goes under the belly pan and running boards and lifts the entire sled off the ground. It looks pretty straight forward...

Sagging Running Boards.

I have also heard of people putting milk crates under the running boards then standing on them. This is not an exact science but it may work if the hammer won't get it back in line. Just don't jump to hard

SHARE SOME FUNNY STORIES HERE

kidna funny. I rolled my sled in an accident and tweaked the tunnel. well the insurance company totalled the sled. I bought it back from the insurance company and sold it to a friend after I fixed up a couple pieces. He was fine with the tunnel slightly bent in the back. The funny thing, he only had...

CAUTION - HOUGHTON LAKE!!!

I agree, use some common sense and you will be fine. Don't go running across the lake until you have at least made one pass to make sure it is safe. Check out michigansnowmobiling.com, then the houghton lake trail report for details where the biggest spots are. People are still driving there trucks ...

So I Broke My Foot

I feel your pain. I broke my leg in mid December, and needed surgery to to put it back together, now I can't put any weight on my leg till almost march.

Worst part is, I bought the new REV 600 HO for this season, and now I may not be able to ride. The sled only has .3 miles on it.

what do you carry with you

TP, Flashlight, Tow Rope, I usually carry a small first aid kit (bandaids, gauze, hypothermia blanket, lighter, small candle, and couple candy bars, aspirin, ect.), GPS, maps, water, oil. If I know I will be on the lake, I take a couple railroad nails with string attached and throw those in my bag (...

Catman, where in allegan are you riding. I am in Ottawa Cty (jenison). I would love to get some early season rides in to test out the sled, but I don't want to trailer way up north. Let me know where your riding and if you need any company on your next ride. I would love to get out, we only have a f...

Artic Cat 440

How much would you pay for a 99 440 liquid cooled? I found one for sale for 1500.

I don't know to many details, I found out through word of mouth. But has anyone had experience with these sleds. I was thinking about it for a back up sled.
