Oval world Series in 2004??

I agree Marcel! The "World Series" used to be a big deal with all the associations participating by sending their top points winners in all classes and having a spectacular event. With the downturn in oval racing entries in the mid 90s anyone that could get to the series was allowed to enter. The Wo...

Champlite 600 class why not??

As a former champ lite driver I can tell you that it was every bit as hard to win as it is in the champ semi pro class. The only difference between the sleds is some good porting and higher compression. We ran the same engine, pipes, carbs and ignition and just ported the cylinders and shaved the he...

champ 600's

The 600 champ class is definitely a spectacle like the FIII class was. A fully modified 600 cc twin is capable of making 140-150 hp. A sled with this much hp is capable of over 110 mph on a 1/2 mile track. At this speed the sleds are very difficult to handle on anything but a perfectly smooth track....

To Eganville Organization

The Eganville race track was the best track I have raced on all season. The weather held off on saturday and there was perfect ice conditions for a super fast race. Caterpillar was on hand with more than ample grooming equipment which kept the track clean and visibility perfect. Sunday morning had n...

EASTERN PRO TOUR RESULTS?

A great weekend of racing in Drummondville! My hat is off to George Sampson and his crew for putting on a terrific show and addressing any and every safety concern that was brought up. Carl was the only crash that had any sort of injury and we hope he is back racing in a couple of weeks. Jacques put...

sad day at eagle river

This is truly a dark day for snowmobile racing. Flip was truly a great guy. He hand built his chassis and had got his machine handling and flying. He was very proud of his acomplishments and was as enthusiastic as you could be. I am truly sorry that we have lost another racer and friend. My heart go...

Eagle River Predictions

Hmm???? There are too many hungry racers capable of winning to pick a clear favorite. I think Jacques will win the 600 open class but the Champ 440 will see the 3 Hooper sleds (but only two will finish),drive away from Ludwig , Jacques, Chris, and Terry (if he is healed up enough ). If the track det...
