zr 580 bog

i have a 96 ext 580 efi that does the same thing also, finally kicks in at around 4000 and is fine after but just boggy from idle to engagment. read somewhere that it is a chip in the brain box that handles the fuel air ratio for different elevations, but i don't know if this is bogus info cause i t...

recoil issue

just wondering if my zl 600 ss is included in the recall for the recoils on the 800 and 600 arctic cats? is it just the zrs or all of them. asked my dealer and he said mine wasn't part of it, but i'd like a second opinion, don't want any surprises.

who would win

who would win in a race between a stock 96 ext 580 deluxe, a stock 96 xlt, and a 94 xlt with studs? i assume my 02 zl 600 ss would take all of them so i won't include it in the scenario. the race would be in average trail conditions, no ice.

ZL 600 SS Smart Ride Suspension

the problem i've found with the dealers i've talked with is that both of them really didn't know anything about the smart ride suspension, not enough training on the subject....i don't know.

track question

is it common for a camoplast track to have some fraying around the track clips and on the edges this early in its life? only 260miles- threads that are showing are about 1/4" or less long. this is the first new sled i've owned.

rear springs on zl 600 ss

i just found out that the zl 600ss came with size .405 wire springs. my new ones are .420 wire, think this is enough difference in size to firm things up for me?

rear springs on zl 600 ss
