thankyou....I do not understand why peopl get off on lifting skis, maybe alittle but u nee d as much as the track on the ground, to hook up! But if you lift too much, say u lift them up a foot or more then u only have very little surface contact on the ground from the track. I believe in good transf...

Too Much Fuel

Yeah sledwrench said it all ...check it all out, plus I found out that the colder and denser the air is the better mileage I get on my 440zl.I think that goes for all engines. good luck

How fast is to fast

My '99 ZL440 reads 100mph...I hit exactly 95mph on it on a hard pack road2 weeks ago! My buddy has a '97 mach 1 and his speedo goes to 130mph and he wrapped the needle arround past the 130 mark. I rode it b4 and hit 110mph and had throtle left but I only weigh 155lbs, My buddy weighs approx 280lbs s...

Mileage

Well i have 99 zl440 I get approx 140-150 miles on a tank, depending on how how and dence the air is and how often u hammer on it. I have a 10.5 gal tank. those figures may be alittle low

Ok Which hole does everybody that has a ZR or bigger ZL or any other cat , have the rear arm set? I mean which holes? theres like 6 or so different sets of hole you can either move the arm forward, or backward! chaincase oils

Well I'm a big Castrol fan, so I use Castrol 80/90w gear oil seems to work fine for me . cheap and lubes just fine
