When I was about 5 years old, my dad bought a 67 skidoo, (I belive it was an olympic) from my uncle who upgraded to a newer model. Oh the fun we had and the miles we put on, those memorys got me thinking about finding one like it and restoring it. If anyone knows of one in fair condition let me know...

Back in 1973 most sleds said had a mix ratio of 20:1 or 32:1 because the oils made then were made to be mixed that way. Todays oils have much better film strengths and can be mixed much thinner. Amsoil makes a ...

what size is it?

The 93 xlt was a 580cc engine. There should be a tag or plate somewhere on the engine with the engines serial no. and size in cc's. stay safe.

DRUNKS@RACER WANNABES

Don't get on me too hard guys, I was just blowing off some steam. I thought I'd give you my $.02 worth. Any way you look at it, it's a d*** shame that accidents happen, especially at the rate they've been lately. Stay safe.

DRUNKS@RACER WANNABES

With out question all racing should be done on the track. It's a d*** shame that people can't take there familys on the trails without wondering who is flying toward them around the next corner and how much they've had to drink. Snowmobiling should be a family sport. Nearly everyone enjoys to pick-...

tillotson carb questions

I think 1-1/4 turns out on the low speed jet and 1-3/4 turns out on the high speed jet, to get you started. mix oil to the oil specs. the machine probably says 32:1 but todays oils are better than 1970's oil. most of todays oil is 50 or 60:1 amsoil makes a very good premix oil they say can be mixed ...

2002 600 MXZ CARB UPDATE/RECALL

Does anyone have any info on the carb update/recall on the 2002 600 mxz with tm40 carbs and dpm? The dealer said they performed the update, but my sled locked up on me twice while running only 6100-6400 rpms only to start up and run fine after 10 minutes cooling. The first time with no damage, this ...
