crunching sound

My brother is just back from a snowmobile trip and said to me that when he is at a stop and starts out easy every thing sounds fine but if he hits throtlle real hard on takeoff he has a crunching sound from underneat in front.Any ideas.Thanks.

Still Missing

Maniac i know some people may disagree with the loose ground wire idea. i sent you a reply to your feb. 17 stupid miss about the same problem i had.Beleive me i searched high and low for the problem.Went trhough same frustration as you.Mine was ground to motor but it could be any ground cause cdi ar...

Stupid Miss!!!

Maniac i have a 700 wildcat efi and went through the same frustration as you .Finally found the problem to be the main ground wire connected to motor was loose.SOMETIMES no miss but other times with vibration wire was moving and not making proper contact. hope this helps. good luck
