Lights went dim - why?

I have 97 ZL 440 Cat, and the snowmobile starts and runs fine, but all the lights (headlight, tail-light, speedo light) are very dim regardless of engine RPM. Any ideas on a fix?

Thanks.

Surge or Electric Brakes better?

Thanks for the feedback. I don't trailer much, so I'm trying to decide between a 4 place Sledbed Open trailer with the salt shield/unloading front ramps, or spend the money on an enclosed Loadmaster or Triton. I have inside storage so I don't need an enclosed trailer for that reason. Any additional ...

Surge or Electric Brakes better?

I'm purchasing a 4 place trailer. Should I get a trailer with surge or electric brakes? Brakes on one or both axles?

Thanks.

The chaincase side where the air flow came in fouled frequently (I believe it ran cooler because the cold air hit that cylinder first), but the clutch side never fouled (which had warmer a...

Most embarrassing snowmobiling moment

Fortunately it wasn't me .......... I worked at a dealer and tuned up a snowmobile that had been running lousy, and I think the owner had been running it that way for a long time. When the owner came to pick it up I brought it around to his waiting car and tilt trailer. I stopped in front of the tra...

Triton Lite 8x10 tilt trailer f/s w/salt shield

The refrigerator, if full size, will have the largest startup load. I don't think you can ever have a generator that is too big. The minimum I would recommend would be an 8 horsepower with an overhead valve engine. The overhead valve engine runs cooler, uses less gas, is quiter, and will last longer...
