Why run regular over synthetic? You answered your own question. I'm a cheap azz! As long as it's safe. I just get the impression the manufacturers are pushing the synthetic and have everyone brain washed. That why I wanted to know what people think.

Speaking of oil.... What are people's thoughts on synthetic? My dealer told me I have to run it, but my manual says standard is fine. With the amount of oil that these use, $30-$35/gal. is harsh!! Since my manual says I can, I'm going to run regular for the next trip and see how it effects it.
