Now here is a light weight race proven sled.

I wonder how this will compare to the REV-XP 600. It may be close power:weight ratios, The XP having a bit less weight and the Polaris 600 having a bit more power

Has a car and sled ever raced?

And if not, what would you see (results) if you had a straight packed snow strip beside a straight road. And raced a 170Hp Mach Z against a 500Hp Corvette? Or a F-1000 and a Miata for you cat guys... Top Gear did attempt to drive a modified 800Hp Jeep on water and then decided to try and race...

2008 Cats...really impressive

How is the 4 spark plugs per engines thing working out? Wasn't that supposed to be their way of meating the EPA requirements? And yet even with that, their engines scored the worst according to this Engine certification article (scroll down to the snow...

1000 REV XP MACH

I suspect that if they can't fit the 1000 SDI in the XP, they could at least do a lot of the same weight saving changes to the RT chassis

oooor just put an E-TEC engine in there :W

2008 REV XP

And I agree that the next thing should be DFI, ski-doo needs to get their E-TEC engine in there.

2008 REV XP
Time to buy SkiDoo stock now...
Now that you mention it, what exactly is the ski-doo stock symbol? I would think BRP but this site says that it trades under BBD.A, BBD.B, BBD, BOM and BBDd.F...

Who on this board actually rides a Polaris snowmobile?

This was a good starter sled but i'm now wanting a more current chassis and more power. Once I have money...which won't be for a few years

OEM Segment comparisons

I am not Yami biased, If anything I can say that I am Pol or Skidoo biased I do beleive that Pol has got things right but they do have a gaping hole above 140Hp (which arguably most people don't need) and I did list the FS in the 80Hp category, As for Cat, my problem is their new chassis and engines...
