normal piston wear?

The wear you are describing sounds like what we usually refer to as `cold siezure`. It occurs when the piston expands faster than the cylinder and actually starts to bind up in the cylinder. It is caused by not letting the engine warm up sufficiently before you start running it hard. Guy

Do NOT use 1 Wiseco piston. They are the best for sleds, but they often have a differant squish height which yields a differant compression ratio than OEM or stock replacement. They are also often very differant in weight. If you are only going to replace 1 piston, The Kimpex will work fine. I sell ...

Now this is New to me!

Point arms usually bend when the points get stuck together from sitting then you turn the motor over and the arm bends before the contacts break apart. Throttle plates usually fold in half from a good backfire. Guy

Ahood, I get mine from Munces Lubricants out of Gorham (I think). They deliver to auto repair shops all over the state.
