Make life easy and disconnect your wire harness at the engine next to the recoil and if you have spark then your problem is not the coils/points/condensers/spark plugs. I am not sure yet on how fast the LS's go. They are faster than I expected for a 250 motor. I found the LS's to be tippy in deep snow. I love the ride of my 3500 and 4500 better. My guess is 60-65mph for the LS's. Take Care

I found that by replacing the points and condenser and cleaning up all the rust on the flywheel and coils and re-setting the air gap I got a hotter spark and they didn't foul out anymore.
