Additional $30 to ride sleds in MN next season

Sounds like poor planing on the part of clubs. Since there hasn't been decent snow to groom the last few years where has that money gone? The problem lies within the fact snowmobile regrestration fees go into the general fund in Minnesota. If that got resturctured so that regrestration fees went dir...

Additional $30 to ride sleds in MN next season

This is complete BS. We cannot allow this to pass. Contact you Minneosta officals and tell them this is wrong. The article is written from a very anti-sled point of view IMHO. They are making it sound like I don't pay anything to ride my sled in Minnesota. Well, guess what? I do, $48.50 every 3 year...

2005/06 Switchback

06 will be the one to have, IMHO, in the IQ platform. I know 3-4 people with 04/05 EDGE switchbacks and they all have nothing but good things to say about them. I have not had a chance to ride one but one of the people I know that has an 04 800 SB also has a 99 XCR 800 (triple/triple). He rides the ...

Polaris Frontier 4 Stroke 2003 touring.

Its about 55hp and weighs about 600lbs, so IMHO, its a pooch. The engine though is very similar to the Sportsman 600/700/700EFI/800EFI, and the use similar EFI systems I think.

The mechanicals wouldn't bother me but the weight and lack of motivation would.

2003 Polaris XC Hi Temp Problem

What the previous post said. Also, there is a bleed screw where the upper hose comes out of the engine. With the front end of the sled elevated this is the highest point in the cooling system. If the screw does not want to turn out to not break it off. You can accomplish the same thing by removing t...

2003 Polaris XC Hi Temp Problem

Don't worry about it. Ask as many questions as you want. I have ridden Polaris sleds since 1996. I have owned a 96 XLT, 01 500 XCSP and now own a 03 600 XCSP. I am going to snow check an 06 Fusion 600HO. Hyfax are the plastic slide strips that the track slides on. (Track) clips are the metal parts o...
