If you don't make lodging reservations ahead of time you might want to bring the necessary items for building an igloo ;) .....Seriously, I'm not sure if you are planning on the U.P. or downstate but most of the riding I've been doing in the U.P. this year has been during the week and even then, mos...

xlt died....

I bought an XLT in '94. Spun a bearing at 8500 miles. I had heard that there were problems and that most didn't last as long as mine did but I was never notified of a recall. Another thing I must admit is I almost never use my gas shut off when trailering, but rarely have trouble starting afterward....

(polaris problem need help)

Where do you see the coolant? If it's on top of the motor, soaking the foam around the air box, it's probably your radiator cap. I'm not sure which sleds can just use a regular automotive cap but if yours can, it should cost less than $10. My '94 XLT took like a 20 lb. cap which I had to buy from Po...

Avoid Trail 7 from Upson to Saxon

1/2 mile or so of mud and water holes 4 feet deep! Maybe todays temps will help but it was nasty Friday night. I don't understand why these sections are not closed when they are in this condition. Also one particularly large water hole on trail 8 between Bergland and Wakefield.

electric shield hook up

I have an '05 XCSP and want to hook up the wiring for an electric shield. I see there are 2 red and 2 brown wires coming out of the harness naer the top of the airbox. Are those hots and grounds? If so is that a good place to tap in or is there a better way to do it?

m-10 vs. edge

Thanks for the responses! I don't really like to pound it through the moguls but I do like to grab a little air once in a while. How about cornering?
