I thank all you guys that helped me out a couple of days ago, and I kind of figured out a few things since then, about my 2000 ZL 500 efi and its no low end power. First, there is 313 miles to be exact on a new set of weights and bushings and belt. I put my old belt back on and it helped, but it did...

Hey lawdog800

That new head you got won't raise the compresion of your motor, it raised the compresion ratio, which has nothing to do with the compresion. Your cylinders can only hold as much pressure as your piston rings will allow. But the higher the compresion ratio the more is squeezes the air/fuel mixture, s...

I read a post on here before from someone that was talkign about an efi regulator, and I and trying to learn more about them. If a guy was to get one of these, would he have as much flexibility as he would have with a carb, such as could you put a pipe on, or a twin pipes on and just change the regu...

If you are going to get reeds, get the V-force 2, the whole cage it different to allow more air flow. I have a 2000 500 efi, and I put them on, and I like them, I also know a couple of guys that use them too. I noticed a little more low end power right away, because I needed to raise my engagement r...

EFI Regulators

Do any of you guys around here have any experiance with pressure regulators on your batteryless EFI on your cats, if so, I was wondering if it is a good investment. Also, is it as versitile as jets on a carburator as far as if you put a different pipe on, or a twin pipes, can you get enough adjustme...
