Re: observation

John it was only a short couple of years ago when people thought you were in lala land talking about a radically new class and what developed was the Outlaw class. TJ is right that to stir up interest we need to have a radically new class that throws out the current rule book. I agree we need to mak...

Re: observation

John you are missing the point.... no rules except width and the amount of fuel. The smart and innovative teams will quickly find a 600 or bigger motor or a 440 with big carbs will not go the distance and the driver will need to go 30 laps so heavy sleds will tire the driver. Fuel additives with oxy...

Re: observation

Make it 30 laps and have a 2 gallon maximum tank. No adding fuel during the race even for restarts. A 600 won't make 30 laps flatout on 2 gallons of gas and if you play with fuel, mileage goes down even more.
Anything else goes.

Re: observation

Zero rules ...I like it! Run watcha brung. Maybe the only rule is 45" wide so you can still line up 10 sleds on the front row.
The second thing would be spec fuel like they did this year. And thats it............
Sure would make it easier to tech 8-)

Re: Derby Prediction

Watch for a guy named Mike on the #44 sled. He will be on the fastest champ sled from the east. Also watch a little guy named Steven on a Polaris# 37. Dont let his size fool you! He will be the one to watch in Semi pro.

Re: Boonville Announcement

Mr Finally Florida. You are very mis-informed and you are hurting the sport with your rhetoric and slander. George was the only one that stepped up to the plate when Marcel became ill and wanted someone else to take the reigns. He made a promise to Marcel to run it as professionally as possible for ...

Re: Boonville Announcement

Tony. Although I am not very involved in the CPT anymore I have to let my thoughts be known. The CPT and the vintage association were planning to have the race in Boonville as scheduled but you and the Boonville group decided to dump them in favour of running it on your own with volunteers. Did you ...

I just heard Ted passed away today. Very sad news. My condolences to his family. Ted was one of those guys that were larger than life. God speed Ted. Say hello to Marcel for me! :(
