I have an '01 500 and the spring is purple and white-brand new spring from the dealer since the blue cap broke, unless they gave me the wrong spring?

Polaris Warranty BS!!

Sledheadred-the hesitation I speak of is right off idle, not at higher rpm's as I had stated in my earlier post. Regarding the $10 valve plug, it's just that if the sled has a 2 year engine warranty, and this is a necessary part, it should be covered, it is a defective part, not something that was t...

Henderson, question 4 U

Also, have you done any internal changes to the carbs? It was noted in another thread about lowering the needles 1 notch.

Polaris Warranty BS!!

Called Polaris directly in Roseau, spoke with a person regarding my concerns-hesitation and plastic VES adjustment cap breaking. They took down the info and I am to get a call back Thursday or Friday of this week. I'll let you know what comes of it.

Henderson, question 4 U

Thanks for the reply. The plugs are the original Champions. As far as the fuel screws, what is your opinion on which way to try turning the fuel screws? How much should I turn them-1/4 to 1/2 a turn? It seems not to make any difference if the key is in the reg. or premium fuel mode, but I do run the...

Henderson, question 4 U

At the dealership you work for, has anyone brought up the hesitation issue on the SP VES equipped 5-600's? A few local dealers mentioned adjusting on the fuel screws, which as temps change, I'd have to re-adjust them. Also mentioned raising the idle, didn't help. My brother's 500 is the same way, as...

Polaris Warranty BS!!

HENDERSON-at the dealerhip you work at, has anyone dealt with the hesitation issue that I mentioned? I know I'm not alone, my brothers 500SP does it too, as well as others I have talked to, the local dealers mentioned adjusting on the fuel screws, but then when the temp changes, I'd have to re-adjus...

Polaris Warranty BS!!

On the hesitation off idle-it's been there since day one, even after the VES valves have been cleaned. I don't see how it would be a clutching adjustment. Has anyone had this problem, and with rejetting cured it, could it actually be that the oil pump is pushing too much oil in? Sled runs great othe...

Who Purchased RX-1.

I understand these RX sleds use carbs, I heard the new R1 sportbikes are going to fuel injection, could this be something to come later for the RX1?
