I made a call to Polaris today and the customer service rep is going to forward my complaint to whomever. I'll see if I get a response within the next week otherwise I will send a letter to see what can be checked out or done. I can't really see where oil would make a difference as I had used the TC...

Triton Trailor Problem

That seems odd to have a coil spring break in that application. I would hope to see they warranty it. I just purchased a Triton LT with an enclosure with the a-frame style tongue with two of the coil springs, and it's fun getting to tilt the trailer w/o a sled on the trailer to secure the tilt mecha...

I also have a 500 that does that. A local dealer told me that they have corrected it on the '02 models by adjusting the timing-at least that's what they say. I haven't pushed them as to see if they will actually check mine and adjust it.

Is this an actual coil style spring where the tongue attaches to the frame or a gas strut type? I personally haven't heard of the coil style ones breaking, but have heard where the other style has been a problem. '71 A/C Panther 760 value?

Actually, my brother is looking to possibly buy the Panther, asking price is $700, but that also includes a '71 Panther 303, which is good shape, but doesn't run from what we were told.

Anyone have an idea on the value of a '71 Arctic Cat Panther with a 760 engine and the chrome pipes that run on each side of the sled? Odometer shows around 800 miles and sled is in very good shape.
