All I got from this post is that the fcat is tippy. Who has their sled upside down that often? And you are comparing a blown out exaust pipe to a fouled plug? I assume that means you keep a spare pipe in your pocket for such occasions?

I Bet they picked yamaha's without reverse, and skidoos with electric start, to "even things up". If skidoo weighed a non-electric start sled with reverse vs a yamaha with reverse, you would see an extra 50 lbs on the yamaha. You can twist any specs if you want to, and Yamaha has done a lot of twist...

And yes, you can feel the weight. I needed a block and tackle to lift the back end enough to check the track tension. I have no idea what I will do if he ever get's it stuck. The ride is pretty good though. Much better than the fusion. Could be the long track advantage though.

Amen to rear exhaust being nasty if trying to lift the back end. My dad's venture builds up a big block of ice back their on the grab-bar.

Skidoo is claiming better fuel mileage than the yamaha. We'll see how that pans out in the "Real world" but even if they are close, that skidoo is going to have the other manufacturer's sweating.

Ford has nice stuff? Have you looked at the fusion and five hundred? Those things are hideous, identical to each other, and cheap looking. A pontiac should look like a pontiac. The g6 is kind of ugly, but the g8 looks awesome. I prefer that to the 300 any day.

The g8 is twice as big as a jetta. Did you read the specs? It's a big car. 75 inches wide, 114.8 inch wheelbase. I hope this thing comes to canada. I could use a good daily driver. The gto never got here.
