Still having trouble with my 75 olympic

thanks guys i have already rebuilt the fuel pump i did notice a slight amount of liquid in the impulse line so i will check it out. is there a drain plug on the crankcase?

Still having trouble with my 75 olympic

It is a 75 Ski-doo olympic 340 with a tillotson carb and The engine will run off the primer all day but i still can't get to suck gas very well. I have tried two different carbs both that i know work.I cant get gas up into the line from the tank but when i fill up the lines with gas it pulls it very...

1974 Olympic 340 help needed

i forgot to mention i also stuck the gas line in a can of fresh mixed gas did the same thing. its not the PSI that i am worried about it is the difference in PSI in each cylinder even a 10 PSI difference isn't good. But i am not sure that is causing my problems.

Belt/Clutch Problems

I got the Olympic Running great on a stand and then i put it down on the ground to run around the yard and it wouldn't move. The belt wouldn't catch it would just slip. The clutch wasn't cathing quicly it was slowly cathing the belt. What is goin on here?

De-summerizing

Just starting it up for a few minutes in the garage is not the way to do it. When you do this the emgine usually doesn't get up to operating temp which means it doesn't displace all the condensation that gathers in an engine when it sits .Unless your actaully riding in the summer do your self a favo...

Got a another sled for free today

I brought home a 75 Ski-doo olymic 340 today in ok condition. I poured some gas down the cylinders and it fired right away. Basically all it needs is some cleaning a little paint and a cleaned gas tank. Anyone else have this sled? Apparently its one of the first olympics with a slide suspension.
