flywheel puller will it work??

Yea I am in the same boat as you, I just got done trying the harmonic balancer puller on my sled (98 zr 440 sno pro), and that didn't even come close to wrking...it fit on their but with pressure, started smooshing the tension bolt on the puller.

well logic would tell you it's not getting or getting to much air/spark/fuel...I would start there ;)

Ok I just tested everything now with understanding what I was looking for. Primary ignition coil .09 (spec is .078-.106), on the 4 plug harness otherwise known as Stator plug, no matter what I do it stays on 1 on the multimeter, nothing moves. I am guessing from the parts diagram the "trigger" as you called it would be part #5 the ignition timing module, come to think of it, it has to be the 2 plug wire that I was talking about earlier. sounds like it's in the carbs, switch them with your friend, actually with the sled off hold the throttle at wot, and stick your figer in the carb to make sure they are opening fully, could be jets too, spark plug gap...Sounds like your motor can't get enough fuel/air up top too get going.
