F500 Parts

I've decided to start offering a few F500 parts for sale. There are quite a few different parts that some front running teams (mine included) are running that are not available to the public. I'm trying to help get the newcomers in the class upto speed quicker. I'm am not saying that you NEED these ...

Re: So much for F500 being affordable

Crager, if you read the new rules they actually banned alot of exotic materials. The only place you can use carbon fibre is the hood. No backers, no other body panels. And carbon fiber is not all that exotic anymore. And the data system is for engine monitoring only. No suspension data at all. If I ...

By the way, I agree my sled wasn't the easiest on the eyes, but you only noticed that if you looked at it...

Re: So much for F500 being affordable

I agree with John on how these rules look to new racers, but I also agree with the changes. To the new racer coming in, yes, Quick Changes, Data systems, Carbon Hoods etc will look daunting. But to the experienced racer, these items usually save money, or atleast do not offer a performance advantage...

Re: Day 2 CPTC

I heard Chartier was lifting slightly into turn 1 and then back to WOT almost before being through the turn entry. Like 10 sled lengths ahead of anyone else. And obviously lots of smoke down the straights. It's the whole package that has him out front. If you think it's because of some magical fuel,...

Re: The future of Champ

I agree John, and the whole voting on rule changes is a joke to begin with. There will always be personal agendas on the table. I've said this before but ill say it again, do you think NASCAR Indycar, F1 drivers vote on the rule changes? No, the sanctioning bodies conduct research, test ideas and MA...
