Teams to watch at the Soo?

Postby Riles7 » December 22nd, 2005, 1:33 pm

Working on a project idea for the I-500 this year, and I'm curious to hear who everybody thinks is going to be really fast this year. I'm looking at trying to find out who the top teams are from each of the 4 OEM's.

Will Polaris continue to dominate?

Will Yamaha put a 4 stroker in the winners circle?

Can Ski-Doo find the ponies to keep up?

Will Cat EVER win that race?

What do you all think? Let's hear it!

If Yamaha has Corey Davidson team up with Jesse Strege as his back up driver at the Soo, team Yamaha wins the Soo this year!! I have no idea if its even been thought of, but if I was in control thats the team I would want put out on the ice.

I would have to agree with the spy guy but I have heard it from a very reliable source that it is very true to a reality.

Who is Davidson's crew this year? Does he still have Pro-5 connections, or is it an entirely new team? Agreed, he and Jesse would be heavy favorites. Yamaha will be tough with the Diamond team, as well as Todd Krikke.

Also heard Troy DeWald is coming back out this year on a Ski-Doo, and he should be a contender right out of the box.

I'd say the Furkey's and Hoo's boys will be tough on Polaris.

I dont think I would want to be the one to call Burt @ Pro 5 and ask that question if they are crewing for Davidson. He has the keys to the back door @ Polaris and I am sure they would not approve of that happening

I tell u what this year it is definetly a race that nobody is going to want to miss!!! It is going to be some kick?ss racing and that is what it is all about. If no good competition no good racin...Huge changes alot of blue will be showing their streaks this year!! So all we need is cold weather for the track(which i am starting to wonder what's up with the weather lately?). Good weather for race fans, beer tent (haha), green & checker flag and we are good to go!!
