Valcourt

Any opinions on the new track configuration at Valcourt? From their Facebook post looks like there adding an s turn for the moto/atv. Wondering what, if any, effect that will have on the track for the oval sleds.

Im sure it's going to put grooves in the corner hopefully they won't be in a bad spot. On the other hand they won't be tearing up corner one. What I can't believe, is this going to be the first race out east for the season?

Wow I can't believe Valcourt is the first official race of the season for the guys out east. I see Loweville is cancelled does anyone know why? I bet the guys in Boonville are not feeling good about the cancellation especially after they agreed not to try to compete with a race 30 minutes away on the same weekend! Seems like a Cluster to me??

Hey there Dave.

We still believe we did the right thing. As with anyone or any group (both sides of the border on this one) that pulls S*#t like that - it all comes out in the wash! The Lowville race went in the toilet.

Tony you did the only thing you could. Cancelling Boonville was your only option. It's hard to have a race without ice. As I understand the Lowville race has been rescheduled to the week after Roberval if they get some cold weather. The weather this year has not been friendly to track building. I hope next year we see a CPT race at both venues. Or do you just plan to hold a vintage race?

Nutty does that track have cement walls or metal walls? Looks like Valcourt isn't going to have much of a show with the TLC racing on the same weekend. I can't blame the guy for racing out west at least they are racing.

Pretty sure Chuck Villenevue will have 2 champ drivers. I bet the numbers in Champ are going to be very low. There is a TLC series race out west this weekend also, so the number are going to be off. No Schults, no Wahls, no Potter, no McDonald, I'm assuming because those guys are in a points battle. You might pick up a few of those guys for Eganville next weekend, there is no TLC race out west. I'm interested in knowing the champ numbers, I'm afraid there going to be ugly! The good news is with the exception of Colt D everyone should be well rested;)!
