cylinder replating

Anyone have any idea what it costs to have cylinders replated?

probably 200to 300 per cydiner maybe more.

the Rotax 583, and 670's were and still are the best snowmobile engine ever made for more than one reason and this is one of them.

Millennium technologies replates cylinders for around $160.
If the cylinder has deep grooves that require welding and remachining the cost is around $250.

Hey by the way John did you rubber mount the engine on the outlaw 600 you built or is it solid?
I'm helping a guy that has one and it has a lot of vibration, his is mounted solid. Just wondering

I always rubber mount engines, I tried solid mounting years ago and found it causes nothing but problems.

I would have bet a case of beer you would say something like that.

I was told it wouldn't work to rubber mount them but I couldn't make myself believe it.
