Sounds like a good class of sleds this year, Cody, Tyler and Blaine will be back. Our new Limited will be done.. Finally! I think Shane and Greg P. are planning on one. Troy Schmitz has one he's working on, rumor has it Jeff Behn is back from Florida and will be piloting his LTD again and hopefully a few new faces on the track as well.

As far as sleds, you'll see anything from a hooper or wahl clone A Arm to older trailing arm champs. I believe Blaine turned the fastest lap on a Limited at Eagle this past year on his Wahl trailing arm chassis. I believe it was around a 19.1 with most average laps in the 19.3-19.4 range. Speeds are just a couple tenths slower then semi-pro champ in most cases.

We will have a Ltd 500 on the track this year too. Not sure who will be driving it yet. We are starting with a very early Wahl Bros A arm sled, not like the modern A arm sleds they have now. There are a one or two guys at ORA running Ltd 500 but I don't expect to see them in WI

I'll be running an older Rugland trailing arm chassis with a rotax in it. I don't even have a copy of the rules yet to finish converting over from the late model 440 class with twin pipes.

Here's a quick overview... There have been a few rules changed this year that will be out in the new ISR rulebook as well. This is just a quick sampling, ask questions or get a rulebook!!

No Carbon or Ti
No 106 Tracks
Stock OEM Chaincase - Any Make/Model
116x13.5s are legal - NEW
8" Max Rear Idlers
No Wave Rotors
Fox Shocks only - No Remote Reservoirs
Any Hood - NEW
Any Rear Skid - NEW
500cc or less Stock OEM Engine - must maintain original carbs, pipe, ign ect.

Marti, those "old" wahl A Arm chassis's should be plently competetive still! They might not be as flashy as the new tube frame front ends, but the geometery is far from poor. I own two of them, and a few small updates and you might surprise a few people on much newer iron.

Alan is right, as far as a LTD chassis goes, I've seen old Wahl, new Wahl, Hooper, Rugland, heck there are even a few guys who will tell you the fastest chassis' only have 2 shocks on them ; ) but they all have something in common ... THEY'VE ALL WON LTD 500 RACES

Okay, so I knew I had to have a single pipe, didn't know it had to be stock. Good to know. What about a muffler, does that have to be stock as well?
