M10 vs Expert X

Can anyone tell me if the expert x is great through the 6"-14" stutter bumps and larger bumps at higher speeds of 50+mph. I have heard that it does not ride near as well as the M10. I am trying to decide which to get for viper. Thanks any input on these two suspensions is appreciated.

I have an M10 and love it. The most important thing is to set it up for your wieght and riding style. If it is off you can really tell.

Ive got the M-10 also, it is all it is cracked up to be and more. One thing though, if you can afford it, get the ACE M-10, you can adjust the suspension electronically at your fingertips. Would be good if you found a good jump and wanted to stiffen it up, then soften it back up when you hit the trails.

Unless you are doing all 3' moguls and jumps don't get the Ohlins shocks. I know someone who has them and can't get them to handle small bumps and big bumps in the same settings. The Fox shocks work great though.

the pro-action suspension is an awsome suspension with tons of adjustment,try using what you have right now,spring adjustment,differt coupling charactoristics,shock valving,and differnt shock angles should give you one of the best rides,almost as good as the m-10 if it is set up properly. just my 2cents

I like the M10. Never ridden an Expert X. The M10 starts stiff. It needs to be broken in. Then its real nice.

I rode a Viper with the M-10 (just three days ago) and was very impressed...had one in my zr700 years ago back when then were 2 grand!! Never regretted it... being a Catman I was doubtful that it was that good of a combo as the owner claimed..it was. I would not stop there- the Ace system must be the ulitimate.

Get Ohlins, They are the most adjustable and rebuildable. Plus they have compression settings. They are by far the best shocks money can buy. But if you are on a budjet, I woud get the rideFX.
Fox are OK too, but cheep. Trust me, Ohlins are the best. Ask anyone.

SkiDoo used a suspension VERY similar to the Expert a couple years back. Not a big SkiDoo fan, so I don't know the why's or how-cums's, but they only used it on a limited number of machines and for just one model year....
That would tend to tell me it wasn't received very well, but what do I know.
