plug fouling

Hey last year I had trouble fouling plugs on my 2000 MXZX440.its got 280 mains,25 pilot e-clip in the 2 position and I backed out the air screws a couple turns.It still fouls plugs every once and a while(up to about 1/4 or1/2 throttle.What else should I do?how are other mxzx owners carbs set?I am under 2000ft above sea level.
Any info appreciated

I run the NGK BR#EYA plugs in my F-III cause it fouled plugs like mad. They seem to resist really well compared to the stock plugs.
Just a thought, try 'em out.

If you have the trail domes Which allows you to run pump fuel try to change the fuel mixture to
40:1 and run Ngk br9ecs it fixed my problem and the sled kicks ass now. hope this helps

I have a 2000 Mxzx 440 and it fouls plugs every once in a while but not to much. I don't know who everythings set because it was raced by a pro. Mine runs great

How do I check to see if I have the trail domes?
My mixture now is 33:1

Run it at 40:1 like mxzx444 says! Trust Us on That Ratio! We are good friends and we also ride together and we know that ratio works!
Also check the carbs and make sure the slides are properly adjusted!If they are not that, can cause some fouling too!

Remember having to adjust your slides on your carbs at Jimmy's house last X-mas Mark?

P.S. If you have been running on regular pump gas, and you have not melted the motor down yet,then you already have the low compression"TRAIL" domes
in your heads!
Otherwise your motor would have been BYE-BYE along time ago!

Ok I will run at 40:1,I trust you folks alot.I rode all last year on 93 octane alot of WOT runs.
