2002 MX-Z 500 or 2002 Cat ZR500

ok, i agree with polarisrules, i have ZL 500 and it definetly likes the old go-go juice, but dont get me wrong the friggin' thiiing goes. i dont know SHlT all on MXZ 500, but i no that ZR/ZL 500 will anilate the 583! Arctic cat do make a slightly quiker engine then the XC 500 SP, i have prooven this with 2 different XC's.

Mxz 500 because i have one and it is faster than the artic cat and it is so reliable. There is no way you will have to fix it like somw articats i know. It is fast and a awesome ride no matter what

I don't think you can go wrong with ether sled, a ZL should be $300-$400 less than a ZR and sounds more like the sled you want if you go with cat. I weigh 195#, ride a ZL800 and rarely bottom it out._________DREW

the f5 is lighter than the MXZ 5, and makes 10 more hp, but for the extra $2000 you could make the MXZ a lot faster.

I have a 2002 mxz 500 and I like it. I paid $5500 (with RER) so I think 4800 is a good deal. If you get one, get the RER - I love it. I have not ridden the cat so I can not compare or argue. If you want more HP another option is to go to the 600. The ZR's are rated in the rags as being fun sleds.
