performance tips for 99mxz

I purchased this sled last spring and am wondering if there are any tips to enhance the sled performance? I have owned polaris sleds untill now ,and this is my first skidoo. The suspension is coupled and the sled has a 1 1/4 track. Thanks!

The most important hp tip I can give you is to make sure your clutches are aligned and the drive axel and skid are in line and square with the tunnel.
Every thing else is just money...............R7

well i have a 2000 mxz 700, I installed PSI pipes,and PSI claims 15 bottomend to mid hp's,I also sent my sled to Goodwin Performance in Zion Il,they milled the head,upgraded the clutch, i also said I wanted reed vaves but they said they are a waste of money on this sled,well when i got it home a road it last week I called Goodwin back and told them i needed to purchase some hooks to keep my hands on the grips!!!!This sled is a rocket now!!!!! So clutch is the first thing and then the head then pipes.But thaT Is my theory...so read alot and spend less.
