My 1st sled...

Postby MN_Wild » September 19th, 2003, 11:51 am

I just bought my very first snowmobile last night. I'm pretty excited about it and feel the need to tell everyone. It's a 2002 Polaris Edge X 500, blue & yellow. I have only been sledding once (and lived in MN my whole life) so I'm pretty happy about my new sport. Now I gotta practice up on my snow dance.

My 1st sled...

Congratulations....nothing better than getting out there and riding. But why wait for snow? Took mine for a few laps in the grass today, but you're right, nothing like snow. Have fun this winter and ride safe!

That 500 is one of the most reliable engines on the market. Have fun and keep it stock.

Nothing, grass was still wet from the dew. Putting a new set on anyway for the upcoming season.

Now everyone's telling my boyfriend that my sled's gonna beat his '99 600 Polaris so he's jealous. I love this sport already. I told him to get used to looking at that big yellow X on the back :)

My 1st sled...

Postby CatManZL » September 28th, 2003, 3:43 pm

Yeah I'm a die hard sled rider for sure, cant stop thinking about it , the smell of fall air reminds me of every year at this time. I'm working on my sled, all tore apart in the garage. Putting ad on parts on it and cleaning it up. getting ready to go. I'm just glad I live in the snow belt! But I havent started it yet this fall....cant wait to fire it up and smell the exhaust for the first time this year!

See Ya On The Trail!...Wide Open!!!

Welcome aboard! You'll have a lot of fun this winter. I'm a Ski-Doo guy myself, but I think that yours is the best looking sled that Polaris made! Enjoy!

Hey Wild !!
Have you completed a snowmobile safety course ? I'm not preaching, I just believe it is an important step every new rider needs to take. (I'm a safety instructor)
Ride safe and have fun !!!!!!

My 1st sled...

I just bought a Ski-Doo Summit 800. This is the biggest sled I have ever had. I had a dream a friend and I were racing and taking all kinds of jumps, it was great. I can't wait to make it a reality.
