Snake. I work with one design engineer that built and raced R1's in California. 16,000 rpm, all day long. He would take the 'race' engine, and put it in his street bike, and run some crap through the engine (sorta like a lapping compound,but mild) until they started to 'puff'...and then put them in the race bike. Has many trophies. Nice pics too. 10800 is absolutely nothing for those 5 valvers.
I think a nice reliable 250 trail hp would be the ticket.:)
