Polaris XLT nose cone cooler???

i bought a 1994 xlt 580 triple, i dont know much about the history of this sled, mint with a new seat cover. There is a small rad in the nose of the sled, i havnt seen one of these before and my other friends with 90's polaris's dont have it. Just wondering if that is stock or something special???

Hello that cooler is after market to help cool the sled in low snow conditions ect I installed one on my 89 650 back in the day and it does make a differance so it is a good thing enjoy your winter

thanks for the reply, i talked to the previous owner for awhile and got the downlow about the sled. Been rebuilt once but still on stock bore, thunderdome heads, nose cooler, heelklicker clutch kit and a temp guage is what has been done to it..
cant wait to ride it!!!! my first triple!!!!
still dont beat sound of the ZR600 with a can...
