MM700,

Your right, we should all get together for a ride this year. I am up there after Christmas (as is everyone else), derby weekend, Feb. 5th weekend for sure this year. If there is good snow cover I try to make it up every other or every third weekend. name the time, I'll be there.

My Grandfather is the one that ones the house and cabins up there. They are located in Vilas County between Eagle River and St. Germain off of Hwy 70 on old HWY 70. We are the street right by Country Flaire restaurant, Elmers fun park, and Twilight bar and grill. We are on Finley lake, which is a smaller private lake.

The St. Germain/ Eagle River is way to over ridden. The best day trips are from Mercer up to Hurley area and back or from Minocqua over to Phillips and back. I live in Hazelhurst and there are a ton of back roads in the area that make for great day riding. Also check out the willow area, lots of loops and places to explore.

I know for sure that I will be up the week after Christmas, derby week, Feb 5th weekend, and atleast one other mid Feb. ride.

When there is actually some snow on the ground, we should put together a ride.
First off, travel the extra hour up to Eagle River/St. Germain area. The trails are really nice up there (not that they aren't nice in Tomahawk). Also, the signing on the trails up there is AWESOME.

From this area, you have day trip access to the UP, and with that comes hundreds of miles of great trails. Places to stop are endless whether you want bars, restaurants, or just need gas.

I am in Bloomingdale, IL just about 20 mins form you. We should take a ride this winter if you are ever up there.
Hey I also live in Bloomingdale. Any places to ride in the area?
