What sled do you ride?

Postby vwbuggyman » February 3rd, 2005, 12:57 pm

I own a little 96 FormulaS 380. The only add-ons are heated grips and a digital tach, both of which I installed.

Suits me fine. Has plenty of pep(surprisingly powerful for a 380, will compete with a 500) for trail riding but will still reach 70 on hard pack. I don't need or really even want to go faster than that.

I can't see (unless for racing), why anyone would need anything more than a 500 for average riding. Buying a huge motor sled for trails is like buying a Ferrari to drive stop-n-go around the city. It is just a waste of money and machinery.

I guess some people have more money than sense, but then again that's just my opinion.

I have a 2002 Polaris Pro-X 440 fan. Real fun little sled to ride. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post here shortly.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners, than cry with the saints.
