Rant on loud pipes, keep 'em off the trails!

I'm a little surprised at how quiet this particular thread has been. The other forum is a firestorm, pushing 70 replies. I am by no means trying to turn business away from this great forum, but if any of you have an interest in what a LOT of people are saying about this topic, here's the link. You guys are a bunch of _ theres nothing wrong with loud pipes and if someone stopped me and told me they dident like it i would tell them to go pound salt i hardly ever ride the trails but if i do im not changing my pipe. Everybody i talked to likes the sound of my sled so im going with it sounds good. So when you guys go to snocross how do you think the sleds sound if you dont like the sound change sports.

Everybody knows that when you come to a gas station and you have to wait in line...you shut the sled down as a common courtisey to other sledders..and to the General Public that tolerate snowmobilers....

and anyone with a attitude like yours..just brings our sport even more closer to extinction with the lawmakers and the general public...

I think it is great that the old lady had enough savvy to know what the red button on the handlebar does. Too bad she didn't have the arm strength to destroy the switch housing when she shut 'em down.

I bet the loud guys can muster the skills to pull a couple springs and gut the cans, but I doubt if they coulda figgered out how to 'unkill' their sled with a buch of smashed plastic on the end of a couple wires.
