SkiDoo owners..I need your help! please...

I have a 1994 Formula STX and my "front" shocks are junk,blown!
I need other ones,and I have found a few sets for sale,but they are for a 1996 Formula III , a 1997 MachZ.. what will bolt right up to mine??? ANYONE know FOR SURE!? I need them ASAP! But cant buy any untill I know what will fit,

I tryed the fiche and that doesnt help,the part#'s are different for other reasons than length etc.
I looked up ones that I know would fit(1995 STX)and thats a different part #, so thats why I need the knowledge of the ski-doo men out there,from their expereiences and actually knowing what fits...thanks evryone and anyone with help!

the chassis are the same your 94 stx and the 96 formula 3. Those shocks will bolt right on to your 94, no problems........

ok you sound sure..so I will try for those ones maby,what about the machZ 1997??

The 97 mach had more suspension in the back and the front, so i think the front shocks are longer......Your 94 and the 96 had the same C7 rear skid, which would make the front the same also......

I like the sound and smoothness of the triple cylinder, skidoo doesn't make the triple anymore so I have to take care of this one.......

I looked at one this morning EXACTLY like that for sale they wanted 2500. and she was clean,not sure of its miles buut they did take pretty good care of it..I seriously considered it ;)
but 1 at a time I guess.. thanks for the help! I figured the same thing on the front shocks,where the Z had the 10" that the front would have to match the rear to some degree so I guess I'll try for the Formula III shocks,actually one more thing you prolly could help me with...the shocks I may be buying are just shocks,no springs..how hard is it to compress mine and swap my spings to the new shocks?

actually was the "1997 Formula III" still the same as it was in 1996 or was the front end changed???

anyone have a link too where I can get aftermarket front shocks?
Id do that if they were more reasonable than the junk stock from ski-doo..thanks guys for the help!

97 is the first year of CK3. Different shocks on the front. All the others in the formula family,(formulas,machs, 94 - 96 are the same

97 triples (mach-z, mach-1, fomula-3 did NOT have the CK3 until 98...........
